Ahmed Best is a Senior Fellow at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. He is the host of the Afrofuturist podcast and a co-founder of the AfroRithm Futures Group. CEO of BISN Media. Ahmed is a writer, director, producer, actor, musician, host, and futurist. He was a founding member of the acid jazz group The Jazzhole and starred in the Broadway musical Stomp. He then became the first CGI lead character in a motion picture starring Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. Ahmed is a graduate of the American Film Institute with an Ovation Award, LACC Award, Stage Raw Award, and ANNIE award winner. He’s the Executive Producer of dinner at LOLA (Stop That Bangin Productions/BISN Media), the DL Chronicles(GLAAD award winner for Best Anthology series), creator, writer, and director of the Sci-fi comedy The Nebula.
