AfroComicCon is officially accepting submissions for our upcoming visual art and comics anthology: The Revolution WILL Be Illustrated.
Inspired by Gil Scott-Heron’s legendary poem, this visual volume is a reminder that real change happens in the streets, in communities, and within ourselves. This collection honors the full spectrum of change—from the fierce, front-line battles for social justice to the deep, demanding grit of inner evolution (letting go of limiting beliefs, practicing forgiveness, leading with love, mastering the Self, and healing from within).
We invite creators to explore what “revolution” and transformation means to them across all forms: personal, political, spiritual, technological, and cultural. How does revolution look when it’s first happening within us? Let’s draw this into existence.
“When something evolves, everything around that thing evolves as well.” – The Alchemist
The inner evolution is the revolution.
