Bio
Phillip is an award winning Concept Artist and Artistic Director for film, music video and television. He is also one of the Co-Founders of 9B Collective Studio, the first Black-Owned Concept Artist Studio alongside Mike Uwandi and Aldis Hodge. For the past 16 years, he has done visual development for a multitude of blockbuster hits including Marvel’s Black Panther, Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil, Wakanda Forever, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, Captain Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Avengers Infinity War, Thor, Man of Steel, Inception, Star Trek 2 & 3, The Justice League, Marvel’s Agents of Shield, The Greatest Showman, Jungle Cruise starring Dwayne Johnson, Godzilla Vs. Kong and WB/DC’s Blue Beetle for which he was the Assistant Costume Designer. He has also Production Designed several music videos for artist such as Ariana Grande, The Black Keys, Panic at the Disco, Tiesto feat. Busta Rhymes, Travie McCoy, Fefe Dobson, Hot Chelle Rae, Saint Motel and the UK band The Blackout. Phillip currently lives in Valencia, CA with his lovely wife Jessica, daughter Alina (jellybean!), a cat named Frida Klawlo and a miniature Aussie named Cherry.
